Solano Republicans endorse Logue for Congress

The Solano County Republican Central Committee has endorsed Assemblyman Dan Logue in his campaign to represent California’s 3rd Congressional district.
Logue is a small businessman and is a nationally recognized leader on job creation, the group said in a press release announcing the endorsement. A former member of the Yuba County Board of Supervisors and three-term member of the Assembly, Logue and his wife Peggy make their home in Yuba County.
Don Preston, the chairman of the Solano County Republican Central Committee, praised Logue. “Dan is a principled leader with a proven record in Sacramento,” he said in the press release. “I’m proud to announce that the Solano County Republican Party has endorsed (him).”
The third Congressional district includes Colusa, Glenn, Lake, Solano, Sutter, Yuba, Yolo counties as well as the northern portion of Sacramento County. It is currently represented by Democrat John Garamendi.
Logue is quoted in the release saying he is “honored to have earned the support and endorsement of the Solano County Republican Party.” He added that the local group knows “I am committed to fighting to restore our economy and creating opportunity for working families and working hard to make America strong at home and respected abroad.”
The Solano committee urged membersto visit Logue’s website (http://www.danlogue.com) and offer support.
